(SEMI) PERMANENT LIPBLUSH

Soft, realistic results that enhance your natural beauty

Lip blush enhances your natural lip tone, shape, and symmetry — for soft, healthy-looking lips without the need for lipstick.

LIPBLUSH

Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup treatment that gently implants pigment into the lips to enhance their natural colour, correct asymmetry, and give the illusion of fuller, more youthful lips.

WHAT IS PERMANENT MAKEUP FOR LIPS?

Permanent makeup (PMU) for lips is a form of cosmetic tattooing, also known as micropigmentation. It involves implanting pigment into the upper layers of the skin using a sterile, single-use needle and a precision machine.

Unlike traditional tattoos, the pigment is designed to fade gradually over time, allowing for adjustments as your face and style change.

Techniques can be adjusted to create a soft, shaded effect — while other methods like colour packing -  create a stronger, bolder colour for a daytime lipstick effect.

The procedure is tailored to your facial anatomy, skin type, and desired outcome, and typically lasts 1–3 years with periodic touch-ups.

HOW IT WORKS

1. Consultation & Design
We start with a detailed chat about your goals, preferences, and facial structure. I carefully map out your lips to complement your features — you’ll see the shape before anything is done.

2. Numbing
A high-quality topical numbing cream is applied to keep you comfortable throughout the procedure.

3. Treatment
Using a precision device, I gently implant pigment into the skin with soft shading technique, to build up the colour.

4. Healing & Aftercare
You’ll be given full aftercare instructions to support proper healing. Expect some light flaking and fading in the first 7–10 days.

5. Perfecting Session (6–8 weeks later)
Once healed, we fine-tune the shape and colour to ensure long-lasting, flawless results.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it last? Results typically last about 1.5 to 2 years. We recommend having a colour boost done once every 18 months or so. This will ensure your results will continue to look amazing!

Will it hurt? No — I use high-quality numbing and most clients say they feel minimal discomfort. A lot of people fall asleep in fact!

What if I have previous lipblush tattooing? If you’ve had previous work done elsewhere, I’ll need to assess your lips first to see if we can colour correct, refresh, or if removal is needed before reworking. Please send clear photos before booking.

What’s the healing process like? You may notice light scabbing or flaking in the first week. The lipblush will appear darker at first, then fade and settle over 4–6 weeks. I’ll give you full aftercare guidance and check in with you during healing.

Can I choose the shape? To a certain extent — I always design lipblush based on your facial structure and your preferences. I don't ever overline the lips though. You’ll approve the shape before we begin. My goal is to enhance your features in a way that still feels like you.

Is it safe? Yes. I follow strict hygiene standards and only use single-use, sterile equipment. I’m also trained in infection control and have a nursing background, so your safety is my top priority.
